What if you discovered you had
magical fairy powers? Meet the girls of The
Fairy Chronicles, otherwise normal girls like you with special gifts.  Their extraordinary adventures will change the world! Become a part of the magic.

J.H. Sweet

J.H. Sweet has always looked for the magic in the everyday. She has an imaginary dog named Jellybean Ebenezer Beast. Her hobbies include hiking, photography, knitting, and basketry. She also enjoys watching a variety of movies and sports. Her favorite superhero is her husband, with Silver Surfer coming in a close second. She loves many of the same things the fairies love, including live oak trees, mockingbirds, weathered terra-cotta, butterflies, bees, and cypress knees. In the fairy game of “If I were a jelly bean, what flavor would I be?” she would be green apple. J.H. Sweet lives with her husband in South Texas and has a degree in English from Texas State University.

Hello: This is "Madam Toad" from the Bus Stop Girls' Book Club. We have been reading your books this year, and they have been thoroughly engaging. Thank you for providing wholesome, magical, and thought provoking books to the women of tomorrow. Our bookclub has four moms and four girls who take turns selecting books. When my turn comes around, our girls are so excited to see what adventure they will be called upon next to accomplish. We all have assumed different identies from the books. The Fairy Chronicles Series is by far their favorite eventhough we read all different types of books. We just finished Firefly's book and this weekend we will be going camping and will hold our own fairy circle. We have had problems in our neighborhood with brownies leaving spiders in our shoes and in our swimming pool. We have been told by a reliable source that Mother Nature has a very important issue for us to resolve while we are camping. Thank you so much for giving us a spring-board to teach our girls about nature, dreaming, imagination and the power of believing! Our girls know and believe that, "Inside of 'all of us' is the power to do anything!"
