Small mischievous boy fairy folk who are generally seven inches in height and flightless. Brownie spirits are most often derived from acorns, pinecones, river stones, mosses, clover, or mushrooms. They like to live with people and are usually helpful, but can wreak havoc if not properly rewarded with pastries and milk. Brownies delight in playing tricks on fairies. Ironically, brownies are the keepers of the Feather of Hope, which is the means by which all hope on Earth is replenished and distributed. Brownies ride on birds and animals to travel and carry out their job of spreading hope. Brownies are never invited to fairy circle!
