Golem

A golem is a creature constructed to look like a human being. The creature is given life, but is not a human being. A golem may contain life, but it lacks a soul. Most golems are evil. Some of them have command of dark magic and can be very dangerous. Perhaps the most famous example of a golem is Mary Shelley’s literary monster—the creation of Dr. Frankenstein. You will not be able to tell a wellconstructed golem from a human being.

When I first read this,I also shivered.What books are golems featured in?Probably in the newer ones.There are interesting creatures around the world!I must try to find a golem one day.
