Unicorns resemble horses and are usually pure white with a single horn extending from their foreheads. They are largely mysterious magical creatures because it is unknown what the unicorns’ exact purposes are or how far their magical abilities extend. It is known that unicorns are attracted to apple trees. They also have the ability to give direction, guidance, and advisement to other creatures by mere thought since they cannot speak. Their advice is valuable because unicorns are pure creatures and cannot be corrupted. Unicorn wisdom is entirely un-biased, containing no ulterior motives or prejudices. It is said that unicorns can never be captured. However, an old legend disputes this, stating that unicorns are susceptible to capture by beautiful maidens such as nymphs.
