What if you discovered you had
magical fairy powers? Meet the girls of The
Fairy Chronicles, otherwise normal girls like you with special gifts.  Their extraordinary adventures will change the world! Become a part of the magic.

Write Your Own Haiku

Using the information from the fairy handbook, write a haiku poem for one of the following subjects: redbird, cartwheel, puppies, toothbrush, milk, clouds, peppermint, pearl, screen door, button, flag, ice cream, butterfly, jumprope, kitten, popcorn, sidewalk cracks, bald eagle, feather, bare feet, kite, mom’s purse, ribbon, cotton candy.

If you don’t feel like writing a poem, perhaps spend some of your free time drawing sidewalk chalk pictures, riding a bicycle, skating, walking a dog, jumping rope, or learning to play chess.

For more inspiration, read the following poems by Fairy Chronicles author J. H. Sweet!

Haikus
by J. H. Sweet

Exit Sign

Four lit green letters
awaiting our departure
proud of their success.

Peacock
Screaming eyes of light,
on stone hearts and souls reflect
peacock feathered bright.

Grand Piano
Carved wood painted black
openly awaiting touch
to steal the silence.
